Corbett National Park is situated in the foothills of the sub-Himalayan belt in the Nainital districts of Uttarakhand, India.

Jim Corbett Park is well connected by all routes i.e. by Train, by Road, and by Air.

By Air- The nearest Domestic Airport is Pantnagar Airport, Pantnagar, roughly and half-hour drive from Corbett. It is well connected to New Delhi through Jagson Airlines.

By Train- The nearest railway station from Corbett is Ramnagar which is around 12 km from the park and the station is directly connected to the railway stations in Delhi.

By Road- One can reach up to Haldwani/Kashipur/Kathgodam and come to Ramnagar by road. Taxis are easily available from these stations.

Dhela Zone, Jhirna Zone, and Sitabani Forest Zone of Jim Cornett Nationa Park are remains open for a whole year. All other Zones are closed for night halts by visitors from 15th June to 15th October.
The best zones to visit for tiger sighting and safari tours in Jim Corbett National Park are the Bijrani safari zone, Dhikala Safari Zone, and Dhela Safari Zone and you can witness the Royal Bengal tiger during this time. October to February is the best time to visit Jim Corbett National Park for families as most all the zones remain open for sightseeing.

Dhela Zone, Jhirna Zone, and Sitabani Forest Zone of Jim Cornett Nationa Park are remains open for a whole year.

In the rainy season, all core areas of the national park remain closed which is June month. Other than June the core area of the National Park is indeed closed until 15 November. Resorts in Buffer Zone stay open and do safaris in the buffer zone, but you can’t actually go inside the park.

Jim Corbett is divided into five mutually exclusive tourism zones and each has a separate gate entry. These are – Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, and Durgadevi where tourists can enjoy safaris.
Six adults and two children can go in a safari vehicle excluding a nature guide and drivers are allowed in a vehicle during the visit.
Up to five years of age children are exempted from entry fees as well as fees for elephant rides.

Adults need to carry any one ID proof as follows:

Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Govt. Employee Card, Passport, and Student ID for verification at the entry point and whenever asked.
